PakTurk Peshawar celebrated their English week from 27th September to 4th October 2011.
Students were provided different opportunities to experience and have fun. Our respected principal, Mr.Mustafa Yilmaz formally declared the opening of English week in a short ceremony on 27th September 2011. Spelling bee, was kept on priority, and this time students were selected after four rounds, held on different days during the week. Other activities like poem writing, poem recitation, word chain and drama were held on different days in which large number of students took part. On the closing day of the week a short ceremony was held in our conference hall, where all the position holders were given prizes and certificates. Students also performed their dramas on stage. Junior section performed on a play "The Miraculous orange tree", the middle section on Sherlock Holmes and the senior section on "Father and the son". Our English week, no doubt was a success, but that was made possible only because of the never ending support of our respected Vice Principal, Sir Ercan Acar and endless support of all English teachers. |
