Three-day Oxford Professional Development Workshops finished on Saturday. A total of 70 English teachers from PakTurk Islamabad main campus, H-8 Branch, Girls campus, G-10 Junior Campus, Lahore main campus, Lahore Girls branch, Lahore Islampura, Lahore Khayaban-e-Amin branch, Multan Ali Chowk, Multan Bosan Road branch and Peshawar Hayatabad branch attended the workshop. Principal Islamabad Boys section welcomed the participants and ensured them of all possible facilities during their stay. He reminded the teachers about the importance of professional development and need of changes in the class room teaching.
Head of English Department Mr. Suhail Aziz introduced the guest trainers, Mr. Bill Bowler and Ms. Julietta Schoenmann.Mr. Bill Bowler has over 20 years experience of teacher training in 43 countries of the world. Ms. Julietta is a seasoned trainer who has been working in ELT for the last many years. The first tow days of the workshop were led by the guest trainers. On third and the final day, Head of English Department Mr. Suhail Aziz and Head English Department Junior Section Ms. Badriah Bajwa conducted the workshops.
During the sessions overview of the previous year and plans for the new academic year came under discussion.
At the end of the workshops certificated were distributed among the participants.
